‘The soul of Youthwork ’is the name of the exciting TC that took us to Latvia for nine days. When a warm air and a bright sun could still be breathed in certain regions of Spain, five young people with a desire to eat the world decided to breathe deeply and go to Riga to enjoy, taste and live a gloomy, grey and humid air to the fullest. It certainly has left us a very good memory.

Without a doubt, Latvia has a special magic, cold, but cosy, a very Nordic atmosphere – worth the redundancy – and a landscape for lovers of tranquillity. Yes, although it seems strange, this country hides among its most unique and peculiar characteristics, emotional romanticism. It is a country that invites to make the heart, blood and soul vibrate, as the name of the TC indicates, and get carried away by emotions.

During these nine days, in which boredom has not been precisely the best adjective to describe the experience, and, where we have been able to give our best, we have learned as much or more than a university semester.

‘The soul of Youthwork’, has been a TC focused on all those people interested in the exciting world of ERASMUS +, who are looking for new experiences, emotions, win a 360 degree turn to their lives, or simply work closely with mobility within said program.

The program of activities has been varied, heterogeneous, vital, participatory, serious, fun, worked to the last detail and innovative.

It would be difficult to define and explain all the activities we have done, it has been intense and that is what we will do now, explain it with the same intensity:

– Exchange of cultures and ideas, contribution and reception of different points of view that is always considered, because it is, a great enrichment at all levels.

– A pleasant and powerful theory of how to carry out an EVS, TC and a Youth Exchange

– Bureaucracy and the strictest part of what it refers to.

– Exchange of experiences.

– Contribution of new projects that we can carry out.

– Ideas about ‘energizers.

– Debates on different issues related to the world of mobility within this program.

– Cultural, fantastic and innovative night.

– Rethinking about how, what and how to deal with the most fantastic detail the structure of the programs mentioned above.

The facilitators have done an exceptional job. Young, dynamic and eager to eat the world, they made us vibrate from beginning to end without forgetting that life is precisely like the ‘addictive’ whiskey ‘of many varieties according to each person, magical as life itself, special and unique as each person and that over the years improves, as the evolution of people, as older, more experience, more determinate and funnier.
