From the Spanish team to a whole family,

There are times that you leave your home with the idea to change things in your life, to know yourself better, to discover different experiences, to know new people, and to feel their energy. As all of us know, having expectations is not always something good, because sometimes you run the risk to feel disappointed with the result. However, this project wasn’t that way. We came from home with big expectations and, Active Solidarity, exceed them.

We arrived and we were prepared to learn: 10 days of knowledge, 10 days of experiences but, especially, 10 days of family. 10 days in which 38 people were fighting for a common objective: we worked together, we found our own paths and, we reaffirmed in some of them that we had already started. Active Solidarity did something enormous for all of us, gave us a necessary push to go out to the real world, collide with the real world without hurting us. It made us conscious of the importance to spread the idea that there isn’t only one life, one family or one type of love.

The Spanish team were sad to return to Spain but, at the same time, we were happy to have found another home, because we can only call home to something that we feel ours, that we feel we are part of. In Greece, we learnt a lot of topics that we didn’t knew before or some that we had already heard about but we wanted to learn them deeper to arrive to Spain and spread it, tell it to everyone. We wanted the world to feel what we felt, to talk about how diverse the love is, how identity is a personal choice, and how someone that loves you (besides the gender) can make you feel better and better.

Thank you family,

Thank you Spanish team.
